30.5.13

Make a good title.

Sorry I've been abusing my blog by being away and not writing.
I had inspiration this night of what I want to write.
I actually have two posts unfinished in my drafts, I might post other one if I ever end up finishing it.

So my topic of what I wanted to write about in here. I watched a movie, it came from tv.

Only reason I watched it was the actors in it. First Scarlett Johansson, then there's also Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Rebecca Hall. I did not know what to expect, just seen few commercials on tv that it's coming. Seemed like a romatic drama ors.
And most amazing thing was that I really really liked the movie. I usually don't go for that types of movies, and well the fact that I liked the cast was bonus. But even if they would've casted people I don't know I would've liked it. Plot was interesting and not boring, even tou the beginning didn't seem so good, but it got better.

Most of all what got me was Christina's character. Her view of love and life in general was really alike to mine. And I thought during the movie like "oh my god that's so me!" .. Like I'm really hard person to be in a relationship with. And I need this weird space and I cannot just be with one person or I feel suffocated. And for me, I'm not jealous type of person. At least in relationship, all I need is trust and open mind. And not many have that. Anyways, I'll recommend that movie to anyone who wants to take a different kind of look into love and life.
And the other thing that hit me while I was watching that movie, was my restless feeling.
I'd LOVE to just drop evertything and move to a other country for a summer or year and just have fun and experience things and then pack my bag again and move to a next place. I don't want to settle in one place, and my heart craves to get the fuck out of here. But no money, no .. .. place to go. and well, I have cat(s) so it wouldn't work that well. Anyways I'd just love to travel around and not to worry when I need to get home ors.
I'm afraid that I just get stuck into Finland forever.

In other news, if you haven't notice from my 'Find Cakey' -page, I have second blog dedicated to my Farrelleto fic, and if you're patient you might find a new short fic from there soon ;)

Until we meet again- Cakey

Movie Monday #10

At this point I'd like to warn you guys, that if you haven't seen the movie this might reveal some major things.
!Spoiler alert!

Or I dunno. Most likely there'll be something that could spoil your movie experience.

Well, first I'd like to confess that I have never seen any of the Bond movies fully. I've seen bits and pieces of most of them. My GF claims that I have a huge gap in my culture. I have to agree a bit. But I've never been really interested of those movies. But I'd like to see Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace
Just because Daniel Craig is my favorite bond, and because the special effects are more advanced.

For me the "Original" Bond is Pierce Brosnan, because I remember when I was still just a kid and mom watched Bond's he was the current one. So that's why. But I personally for some reason dislike Pierce.

So yeah, that's my 'Bond history'.
Let's move to the actual Movie, shall we?

I wasn't planning to go and see Skyfall, well at least not in the premier. Which by the way was 26th, and I'm surprised to see that in some countries this movie hasn't even come out yet! (Check your country's premier on Imdb)
But the Marko saw the trailer and suggested that we could all go to see it. If I'll reserve the tickets (if there's any left). That was like uh I think two or one week before the premier. So I was like "Why the hell not?" I mean the trailer was good, and I was actually able to get really good seats!

Well, I really didn't have any expectations for this movie. I knew that there'll be lots of action, some romantic moments and ofc the fact that pretty much everything is possible for Mr.Bond. Like all Bonds.
I liked the actors really much. And the start was pretty good, like I didn't expect that at all.
Bond dying before the actual start. I'm not sure if it was necessary. I mean because everybody in the theater KNOWS that Bond has to resurrect and come to save the world.
Then again, it was indeed uh... well I wouldn't say necessary, but it was good thing to happen. And it gives vulnerability to Bond, like he's not some 'super-human-agent' he is indeed just well-trained agent, who's condition ain't the same that was (maybe) ten years ago.

The actual movie was indeed really good, it kept in it's grasp for the whole time.
Only thing bugging me was that I could not figure out where I had seen two of those actors. Other one, Eve Moneypenny I figured out just at the end of the movie. She was in Pirates of The Caribbean as Tia Dalma.
And I knew actor of Q, he was really cutesey in this movie. He had been in Perfume (I reviewed it few MM's ago)...
Only one I cold not figure out was the villain. Ofc after I got home (pissed out and frozen I may add) and got to internet, I checked him out.
It was Javier Bardem. As a name it's like nobody , but my oh my when I saw his face! Because in uh... 'Normal' life he looks nothing like Silva! And he's the guy who look just like Jeffery Dean Morgan and I mix them up sometimes!
Of course aside those 'minor' actors I knew Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Daniel. D'uh~!

What else, what else. Well I _Love_ how Bond dresses up. I'm like super jealous! I'd love to own his wardrobe (& Clothes along it!)... So classy and if I may say, slim and straight looks. Not just in this movie, but over all, Bond dresses really good!
I really fell in love with his one jacket he was wearing in this movie, like a marine/black woolen coat. Medium length, double row buttons. I might even want that jacket more than Mr.Bond himself.

Since this was Bond's 50 yr. Anniversary, they had added some 'memories' in the movie. Well I don't know if it was because of that, or just for fun. Like the Car, Aston Martin DB5. And that in the end Eve tells her last name is Moneypenny. Those were the only ones I got.

I'll give this 3½/5 Stars. So far my fave Bond, really touching.

And I'm not a fan of Adele's, but the theme song she had made for this movie.
I'm in love~♥

This year has been filled with quite dark themed movies. I think this was also really Dark for a Bond movie. I mean from my tiny experience of Bond's I can say it was dark.

Yes, you're getting two movies this Monday! (unbelievable I'm actually in time this week!)

I really don't have much to say of this movie.
Only reason to watch it was Hiddles.

I had a coupon for this internet store where you can lend movies, and I was bored so I started to pick like what I want to watch. And I think I had just seen Avengers ors. and I had huge Loki feels and I don't have ANY (at that point) Hiddles movies. So I wanted to pick something where he was and this was the only one they had.
So I really didn't care like what kind of movie this was.

It was kind of boring. But I think the idea was good. And there were plenty of actors I knew.
Just now, moment ago when I took the link on it's imdb -site I noticed that Paul's actos was Michael Sheen. I mean I've seen this movie twice and I didn't recognize him! He looks so different in beard.

At first it's pretty hard to understand the concept and what really is happening. But Idk for me, I get those quite quickly. And I like it. I mean I don't long for previous decades ors... but the idea of meeting your idols like that is intreeking.

I liked most of the actors. Rachel, Adrien, Tom etc.
But I cannot stand Kurt Fuller, because he was such shit head in Supernatural and I cannot unsee that. His role in this movie ain't that pleasant either. So he is indeed dick whom I can't stand.

2½/5 Stars.

So that's for the movies.

~Cakey

Again I'd like movie for next Monday.  (Preferred if picked out of Last Seen or Rent a movie lists)

Movie Monday #9 (Also Movie news)

(I'm very very tired atm, and un-inspired to write. But, when do I don't feel like that. Ugh)

I actually hoped to get to write about this movie. I wish it was back then when  I had it in fresh memory. Well better late than never, right?
Too bad I'm not in the mood of writing about this gorgeous movie. I'll try my best. All I can think atm is strippers, about that later.

I really wasn't interested in this movie at all. I mean not even any actors that I liked THAT much to actually see it.  But I've heard so much about it so I was like 'I have to see this' so I'll know what's the fuzz about. Since it was coming from tv anyways.

And I have to say that I'm glad that I watched it.

The movie wasn't actually boring, as I was assuming. There were familiar faces (like more than Kristen).
But most of all, the dresses and places. My fucking god!
So damn pretty that I thought that I died and went to pretty dream land.
I'm sucker for that kind of fancy and poofy 'old' fashion dresses and srsl! AH!
Also I enjoyed the movie and it's plot, so the fact that it was candy for my eyes it was overall good.
I really don't know what else to say than 'It was freaking good, and fancy!'...

I really haven't pay attention to history and what has happened to Marie Antoinette in real life. But it was indeed interesting view of it. So I cannot really judge how 'accurate' it was. But I assume that it was pretty freely done.

I'm not really a fan of Kristen, but she looked pretty and did his job nicely. And other actors/actresses did nice job also.  I really don't have much to complain, I really don't get anything in my mind atm.  So uh... That's it.

3/5.

In the other news;

Today when I dropped my cats to the vet (they had dental job, nothing serious) I had like three hours of spare time in my hands, so I decided that the best way to use it, is to go movies.
And only movie that interested me even slightest and fitted my time table was Magic Mike.
I have to say that I'm more than pleased to pick it out, I mean, HUH! Have you seen it?
If you're a woman, and did not like that movie, even a bit, something is terribly wrong with ya!
I mean HOW can you NOT like amazingly gorgeous and sexy well-build men? AND they are handsome as well (most of them at least).
LOOK AT THEM!

The bad part of this movie was that it left me incredibly horny. IT'S NOT FAIR! And it made to want a lap dance even more. And u know it brought all my other uh... uh well uh... u know like different kind of (semi-)kinky thoughts and stuff like that (more) up...

But hey, this is not about Magic Mike. (Nor about my sexual frustration. What?)

Umh.... In the other news, I'm going in 9th season of Friends. And I'm actually scared that I'm soon finished, seriously I'm trying to slow my speed XD But it's not my fault that the epis are only 20mins long!
I've tried to set these 'goals' for me, like I cannot watch more friends until I've watched 'this and this movie' like that. But it's not really working. Eh.

And then.. Well Bond's newest movie, Skyfall is coming to premier (in Finland) tomorrow and I happen to be going in there. I actually wasn't planning on going to see it, or maybe if I end up being bored and then later go to watch it. But then Marko & Mom asked if I'd like to go and see it when it comes out, and hey! Why the hell not!? I'm not paying the ticket :'DDD

Now it's time for the tiny complain. I haven't complain about this in a while.
U know guys, it's REALLY un-encouraging to try and write (even) weekly, because I get so so so little feedback, it's like talking to freaking brick wall here. I know, I know that there are few of you my loyal reader, but it's lonely to not get comments.
I mean, that also one of the main reasons I get lazy about my Movie Mondays, I feel like no one cares, so I think it's what ever.
(Yes I know that you care, but... am I being too unreasonable to ask for more?)

Till next time; Cakey~

Again I'd like movie for next Monday, or week. What ever. (Preferred if picked out of Last Seen or Rent a movie lists)

Movie Monday #8

I've been interested to see this movie for quite a while now. But for some reason never watched it before. Now it came from tv few days back and I recorded it and watched later.
Umh... What can I say. It was pretty much what I assumed.
Which was, lots of action. BUT with at least somewhat interesting plot. Little bit of thriller kind of shades in it.
One of the reasons was also that Taken 2 is now playing in theaters and I wanted to know if it's worth watching for, so if it's anything like the first one it's good.

Hmm hmm, what should I say?

I was really surprised when I saw Katie Cassidy there. I nearly choked on my chocolate. I srsl cannot unsee her from her Ruby -role.

As I was watching the movie, I started to think that how tall Liam is? Since he looked really tall. Especially when he was among other people and when he climbed out of the window. And of course if I don't find out, it starts to bug me. So after the movie was over I hurried to his imdb site, AND MY FUCKING HOLY COW, he's 193cm (6',4")... Same height as Jared! I almost fainted at that point.
For my bad luck, it made him much more attractive. yes, I have thing for tall guys. Umh...
I also now noticed that he looks a bit (just hint) of Sebastian (Roché)...
And Liam has really nice deep voice!

I really don't know what to say from the actual movie. I think it was really good movie.
If you like action/thriller type of movies, I'm pretty sure you'll like this one!
This was actually so good that I'd like to buy it on DVD c:
Also this was not like 'too unreal', because most of the action and thrillers tend to be. And I just might go to see sequel in theaters. But I'll definitely watch it at some point :)

3½/5

Toss me a movie for next week!
Again, I'd be nice if it would be picked out of my last seen/Rent a Movie list's!

Movie Monday #7

(I don't even know how many hours this have been here, waiting for me to actually write it. Hmpf, I shall finally do this!)

Finnish Cover

I actually re-watched this, since it's been +2 years since I last time have seen it. Good thing I did, I remember it now bit better and can write uh 'updated' feelings of it.

I was introduced to this movie by my ex. Because I'm the person who loves and lives trough smells and scents and I have incredibly good sense of smell.
She had watched this movie with someone, and then had bought/rented it (I don't really remember and it's not relevant) and told me that we should watch it, but I must promise first that I don't try anything that happens in that movie.

There are actually lots of memories related to my ex when I think of this movie. Since so far, her scent (we all have our own scent) has been the best I've ever smelled and I remember saying many times that "If there would be a way to bottle that scent, I would." ..
I think that's enough of memorizing. *cough*

The actual movie, well it is good in my opinion, definitely one of it's kind. I've never ran into similar movie before of after.
My only complain is that the movie is bit long 2h 22min, and the second time I paused it many times. It could have been cut into a shorter.
There's actually quite a little of dialogue and talking in general. And most of the time it's kind of visual awesomeness. I think it's well done and really pleasing to eye.

I love the passion that Jean-Babtisé has towards his job and this task of his. And he don't see that it could be wrong or forbidden to do whatever to get it. I in some really psychotic way can identify myself in him.
And this point I have to say that I admit that this idea of making perfume of human is tickling my mind, and I'd die to actually try it out. I just don't have the equipment. If it is actually possible.

I really don't know what else to say.

Uh, All the actors did great job. It was nice to see Dustin Hoffman and Alan Rickman  doing wonderful job. And I have to admit that there's something cute in Ben Whishaw, he was like really badly beaten shy and lost puppy. That in the end is terrible killer inside, but still is in puppy disguise.

But yes, I indeed enjoyed this really much, and soaked myself in the ideas and identified myself from him in few ways.
I would say that this is at least worth watching and an interesting movie.

4/5 Stars.

Sorry I'm bit late, been busy.. and lazy |D
I already have movie for next week, but feel free to toss in another if you like :)!

Movie Monday #6

I admit it, I bought this only because of Chris Hemsworth
I didn't really even look what kind of movie this was.

I so remember watching this for the first time. I just tried not to laugh. It was hard to do.
Because Chris looks so young and his uh,... 'accent' (I think it's trying to be non-accent) is so ridiculous. And generally I just want to laugh at his character and his appearance. But I blame the fact that I've used to seen him in long hair and buffed up with a MIGHTY VOICE
And Sean Bean's brittish accent and long'ish hair also makes me want to laugh. For me he doesn't seem believable is his character.

The movie is pretty basic in my opinion. It's predictable. But in the beginning I wouldn't have guessed how it ended. But going towards to the end it starts to become more predictable.
Thank god it's not long movie.
Sometimes it made me wonder how that part has anything to do with the plot. It's just filling. And boring.

Still I wouldn't say it's bad movie, I would say that if there wasn't anything that I like (Mr.H) I definitely would have not bought it. I might have watched it, but not bought.

2½/5 Stars.

Sorry for shortness, I really don't have much to say about this.

~Cakey

New movie to next Monday, please ;)
Again, I'd be nice if it would be picked out of my last seen/Rent a Movie list's!

Movie Monday #5

Avengers Assemble!!
So first of all I'm sorry I'm almost two weeks late with this |D ... Like I last time told I'm sick, I indeed had bronchitis. And tomorrow my antibiotic regimen ends. I'm not yet feeling so well, I've had now two days in a row a fucking bad headache. But I don't want to delay this post anymore! After this I'm again open for any movies to 'rate' :) ... But now, into the movies! I'll be 'rating' ALL Avengers -related movies. I kinda scratched this subject in this post. So I'll be going trough them in the order I watched them.

Honestly I think that this is the WORST Marvel movie ever made. And this movie was one of the reasons why I had problems to start my marathon, because I really didn't want to watch it. Since it's so freaking boring and bleh! Just NO. Only good thing in it is Jennifer Connelly and Josh Lucas. I personally dislike Eric Bana, and for me I don't find 'Hulk' qualities in him.
I also dislike how they made Hulk, or his appearance. Oh well, I think that it's most closest to the comics. I haven't read any Hulk/Avengers comics, sadly. So I really don't know how loyal to the origin this movie is. But I could imagine it started like that. As a story it's okay and good. But it doesn't catch your attention. It just doesn't work.
I have watched this movie two times in my life. I really regret buying it on DVD. I hope that one day they'll re-do this with Ruffalo as Hulk. And add that 'something' in there so it'll work and is actually interesting.
I'll give this 1/5 Stars, for few good actors & for trying.

I was expecting something a like to the previous Hulk, but with Edward Norton. THANK GOD it wasn't! So yeah my expectations weren't high, quite reverse. They were more like doubting and negative. The start was indeed very weird, it began from like middle of nowhere and now instead of the 'normal' story (he works in lab, and oh my god tested and hulks out and flees and etc.) he's now searching the cure. And Betty didn't know that he Hulks out and well yeah you know the storyline~
Anyways, I liked this movie from first time. And it gave hope that there could be actually good Hulk movie. I liked the casting as well, much better than in the previous one! But still even thought I like Norton as an actor a lot, he doesn't fit as Hulk in my opinion. And Liv was really nice and pretty as Betty. Only one that annoyed me was Tim Roth (Emil Blonsky's actor), idk he just has something that annoys me. Yes, he does good job as Emil and 'super soldier', but his face just sets my 'annoyance' vibes up.
I also rrrrreally liked how they had done Hulk this time. I think he looked really sympathetic and more real in general. Also I really liked how there were references to the future movies, and from other Marvel 'universes'. And of course I enjoyed that Tony came to the bar at the very end.
Solid 3/5  (, If you haven't seen either Hulk Movies, watch ONLY this one ;) )

I think that I remember when the first one came out, and I thought that 'that movie probably sucks' ... But when first Holmes (obviously with RDJ) came out and I fell hard for Rob I ended up watching Iron Man. I remember thinking that it's just full on action with some weird robot stuff, but at least I'd have my eye candy :'D. Again Marvel proved me wrong! I'm thankful for it.
The Start didn't catch me, it was numbing my expectations. But when it got further I got genuinely interested and it wasn't what I indeed expected. And Tony Stark became one of my favorite Marvel characters. His nature, all the egoistic and sassyness and AH! Mostly I loved him, because I could relate to him so much, well much and much (when I watched this, II one & Avengers with my GF she said that I'm so Tony with all that egoism..). Also I really like Pepper and Happy. Pepper is my fave female character.
After watching this few times, it unfortunately gets but boring. Well partly! I mean I'm bored of watching his time in the cave, and Obadiah's solo parts, but I love when Tony is inventing and updating his suit and Pepper moments and all that. And I like Jarvis, I want to have that kind of system in my house! I want my own Jarvis!
I also was surprised when I heard that this was directed by John Favreau, who plays Happy! I was just amazed! XD Because I'm that kind of person who don't really pay attention to director :'D
Well, indeed I'll give it 3½/5 Stars

I have to admit that this is one of those sequels that are better than first part. At least in my opinion. I like the villain more, I liked the story more, I liked how they got more onto Tony's character. Pretty much everything was much better!
Except one thing. And if I wouldn't have watched these two movies in a row, I probably wouldn't have notice it. I'm ashamed, really really ashamed that I noticed YEARS later that they changed Rhodey's actor! WHY?! I mean, yeah I knew that, kind of. I noticed that the face and dude had changed, but I'm so stupid that I never realized that it was the same character. I liked Terrance better. I hate if some character gets 'replaced' with new actor with no reason, or obvious reason. So yes, I liked v.1 Rhodey better than new one (Don Cheadle).
Also I think that Mickey Rourke is convincing as Ivan Vanko. And I like that he gives actual challenge for Tony. I just wish that they would have given more depth to his character, since now it is 'just' kind of buff-genius-evil  -person who wants to have his revenge on Tony. Because there's so much possibility and potential for good character. And hey, where the hell Justin Hammer just suddenly popped? Who is he? What's their past and relationship with Tony? Now he is just lame side character.
Unfortunately many new faces in Iron Man 2, don't get much of attention. They are neat and nice to look. They're convincing on what they do. But it leaves up the questions of like who are they, why are they there? Okay Natasha/Natalie/Black Widow get's explained, and so does other SHIELD -guys, which is good and necessary for regarding future movies.
I really enjoyed Scarlett's acting. She was really good pick for the role. And I enjoyed how Pepper was 'bit' jealous over her. It really hurt me when Pepper and Tony got bumps and cracks in their relationship, I really wanted to yell for Pepper that it's not entirely Tony's fault, and yell to Tony that he should tell to Pepper and tell her about his feelings and ARRGH! But I'm really happy how it ended.
I was left to think about the fact that Tony creates new element. Uuuuh, yeah, right. That was like a bit over, in my mind. Okay he does it cool way and it gives hope for the bad daddy issues. But still... In my opinion it was too unrealistic.
And I have to say that I love how they ended it in waiting for Thor~♥
4/5 Stars.

I remember when this came to theaters. I was supposed to go and see it, just because it's new movie from Marvel. But I never did, I kind of forgot it ors...
And I asked my friend whom had seen it in theater, that if it was worth it and was it even good. And she told me that it was 'okay' and she filled me with synopsis. Cap didn't catch my attention, seemed quite boring movie.
Then one day I have probably found it cheaply on somewhere and bought it. And I still vividly remember when I first time watched this movie. My opinion was:
"This is the second crappiest movie from Marvel. Only Marvel -movie that's more boring and more shit is Hulk!" And I kind of regretted buying it.
The movie is placed on 'era' that I don't find so appealing and it just didn't hit me. Well yeah there was the nice moment's when Chris got buffed up and was in tight (or none at all) clothes. His body is indeed marvelous.
I just left this movie to rot in my self. It mocked me from there. One day when my GF came over and since she hasn't seem like anything and then I 'force' her to watch movies. I decided that "hey, we'll watch Captain America. So you'll see how bad it is!".. And so we did.
Well it wasn't THAT bad that I remembered. And bby Steve was hilarious to watch. And young Howard Stark was nice. (And at that point I had seen Thor) And I got the Tesseract thingie and I knew new trivia about the movie, so it was nice to notice them in there.
And well I still won't say that Cap is my faves, nuh-uh. But it's not that bad.
I have noticed that the more I have watched it, the more I grow to like Steve and Cap. But nah, I really don't find Cap as "Superhero" type of person.
I feel actually sorry for Steve. He's kind of lost puppy. And I think that Cap -hair doesn't suit Chris that well. I prefer different kind of looks for him. But I wouldn't change anything in Cap nor in Chris for this role.
Also I like how they've done the Cap's outfit. And how they have used different looks for it. And I think that the last suit looks the best. It's bit dark and rough looking.
I just don't get the "semi"-ending when Cap 'has to put the plane on water' ,why couldn't he land? Okay, I'm not sure, since it wasn't explained. But okay, if the Tesseract was the power source of the full plane, then yeah I get that all control is pretty much lost when it dropped to sea. But since nothing is really explained, I can't know. And Steve kept saying "There's no time" so did it mean that the bombs would explode when he lands? I think that it was the only major flaw, well not maybe flaw, but i wanted more explanations! Otherwise I got almost everything that was meaningful for the story. And of course I get that Steve was 'must' get to froze & found years later, but idk... It annoys me when things aren't explained well.
Uh... I'll give it 2½/5 Stars :)

I really don't remember was I supposed to go and see this in theaters. Probably not, because my first opinion was "Oh my God, LoL 'Thor' are you guys serious...." kind of mocking approach. Apparently all Marvel movies that I have somehow mocked or thought that they are totally un-interesting have become my Marvel favorites. Now I later regret that I didn't go to see this in 3D to theaters.
Indeed, I found this one on sale and bought it. Just because I should probably own it coz it's from Marvel
And I liked it from the very beginning. I liked it.
Now I love it. I love it so so much! Now because I've grown to love this movie so much it competes from my love with Iron Man and my eternal dilemma do I like Thor or Tony (Or Loki) more XD!
Well. I hate that they have cut out some REALLY important scenes, that would really need to be there, since they affect the whole attitude to the movie and especially towards Loki
And even shittyer is that the scene that should be in the movie is of course in deleted scenes -extras. But ONLY on Blu-Ray, in DVD deleted scenes it's not there, No fair (for those who don't have BR)
Because Loki is not really evil, he is just really misunderstood! I mean the scene they left out was when Odin falls to Odin sleep and Thor is banned in Earth. And Frigga makes Loki king! Loki didn't want to be king! And when he's fighting with Thor on the bifrost, he yells to Thor "I never wanted the throne, I just wanted to be your equal", Loki truly loves his brother and Thor loves him back. But Loki is trying to get Odin to love him and approve him, and be enough and show that he could be equal to Thor.
Yes, Loki does it bit wrong way. But his intentions are actually good in my opinion. Well he just wanted to belong there.
And in the scene where Frigga makes Loki king she says to him "Asgard is now yours, make your father proud" if I remember correctly! So she lays this pressure on Loki to be 'Good King in his fathers eyes'.
And I really hate to read Loki hate that he wanted to take over Asgard, because that how it really looks without that scene!  And it seems that Loki wants to kill Thor and hates him, but no Loki truly adores his big brother and looks up to him. But he wants to be equal and show that he can be trusted as well.
I'm also fucking tired to read that it's Thor's fault that Loki 'turned evil' or that !!!()"!)¤P¤!¤)P/ It just get's me mad. I'll just zip it now, otherwise I end up ranting so horribly.
This movie really gets my emotions up, because I really love Loki and Thor pretty much Equally. And ... .... .... oh my god I feel like I'm gonna start crying now, just by thinking of all the feels I get while watching it. Woah
Well as you might see I have really a lot of feelings towards Thor, and all the characters. And thanks to Thor, it brought Chris Hemsworth to my life. And Tom Hiddleston. I adore them both.

I've also read some people complaining about that this movie isn't like the mythology. Well uh news flash! It's based on comic, that is based on mythology. And some have complained about that Hemsworth isn't fitting for Thor, that he's just brainless bunch of muscles. Well in Thor's defense, I think that he is just not from this planet. He might not get all human things right and I think that Hemsworth is perfect pick for Thor, he has great deep voice and he looks like giant teddy bear, but he also looks like he could punch anyone to the ground in seconds if needed. And in the comics it's not exactly like in the mythology, it's not BASED on it. *Sigh* ....
I'm just very defensive towards my babies. But I do admit the few flaws and other not so awesome stuff.
I think I should shut up about Thor now.. ....
4½/5 Stars (because it don't have that scene in the movie!)

I don't know where to start. I've been staring this a while now. I really don't know where to start. My brain feels numb after that Thor -rant
Well I waited this movie like a moon to rise! But I couldn't attend at the premier. I was really devastated when I realized it. I was in Rome at Supernatural convention when it came out in Finland (27th April). And I have quite a big OCD about that. I.must.get.to.premier. I just must, otherwise I rebel and wont go to see the movie, if it's something I've waited. Well of course I went to see the movie when I got back to Finland.
And so far this movie is my "#1 Most Watched In Theaters" I'm still not sure if I've seen it 7 or 8 times in 3D @ Theater.
I loved this movie from the beginning to the very end. I just fell in love, all my babies in one movie! OMG YES PLZ!!  I'm just dazzled about this.
Yes well it had it semi-boring moments that get boring after you've seen the movie few times. And the ones that you'll love even after ten times!
I think that the only uh... 'flaw' is that the movie is predictable. Well at least the main plot and events.
I'm seriously speechless! I don't know what to write, I don't have words, I'm just numb and mesmerized and I love the movie. And my feels as written down would look like this "scnhdvbjslvb<lshgöoghnvö!!!!" .. I really don't have anything to complain. And I really enjoyed the extras that are on my Blu-Ray (It's ridiculous how tiny amount of extras are on dvd), I have Steel-Box version. And there are some nice deleted scenes. Nothing really important was left out. And the movie really doesn't feel that long, it's easy to sit trough, and it captives your attention. The final battle was mmmaybe bit long, but there was some really nice funny moments, so it wasn't just pure action mash up, it made it much more bearable.
And I think that it was really good that all the characters got same amount of screen time (or so it felt). And nobody really steals the show, okay Hulk and Iron Man are quite scene thieves :'D !
Also the brother moments between Thor and Loki were heartbreaking, and I have wanted to squeal and scream at theater many times. And go and yell to them.
I really wish that Nat and Clint would get movie that would concentrate to them more, and I think that everyone wants to know what happened in Budapest ;) ! They are indeed quite canon couple
Chitauri warriors were nicely made, I really liked how they looked. And I really liked the uh.. .. Chitauri floating/flying beast thingies (o__o;;) ... I just liked them in general.
I think that the movie was really well made, no big mistakes, nor bad effect fails, nothing super unrealistic weren't there.
Even the ending was good, when Manhattan was pretty much destroyed and the news were on and there were divided opinions of Avengers. Because I would think that, that's how it would really go. Not all appreciate that center of the city is fully destroyed and then what? But they did save them after all.
And The end of course where Thor takes Loki and Tesseract back to Asgard (waiting Thor 2!! ♥) and everyone just goes separated ways.
I really don't have nothing bad to say, of course I hate that Coulson died ;;---;; ... That's so far most horrible thing Loki has ever done! And I hate that they're still arguing with Thor.
And my poor Loki bby got smashed by Hulk! Thought it was hilarious... ....
I still think that Steve/Cap is uh.. I feel bad to say 'not necessarily'.. But then again I think that he is indeed the Captain of that team, the one who puts all them together and gives orders finally. But then again, Nat or Clint aren't superheroes, they are just well trained. And Cap is Super soldier. Even though he isn't so amazing as Tony, he is the heart of the team. I think.

And I still love Loki, I actually grew to love him even more. And his hair is to die for ;;--;; And his outfit is so dashing. I like his helmet and 'main' outfit more in Avengers than in Thor. And I melted on my seat when he appeared in Stuttgart. So handsome... I just can't take all those feeling. And his entering to the whole movie! Awesome!

Well all the characters had nice entrances. And Thor's was one of my faves as well, but none can beat Loki's! Hmmm....

About Hulk. I really have grown to like Ruffalo the best Hulk. I mean his appearance is somehow teddy bearish, and he looks really nice and shy guy. But underneath that is something dangerous. So yeah I've grown to like Ruffalo the best. He does convincing job. Even though that was one of my main annoyances when I first heard that there's "new" Hulk. But I grew to like him, just as I've grew to like Steve.

So That's it for Avengers, 5/5 Stars

Future Upcoming Movies

There's few movies, related to this post, that are announced and I'm just waiting more news and trying to get everything out that I can. Most of all I think I'm just waiting to get ANYTHING! XD
Here's tiny list of what's (possibly) coming;
  • Iron Man 3  -This's coming next year's spring.
  • Thor: The Dark World -I'm probably waiting this the most. 2013 Autum
  • Nick Fury -This is just Announced, but hoping the best ;)
  • Avengers 2 -And this has been announced recently, 2015

Now I'm just gonna leave this here and idk, maybe sleep....

ps. I need new movie for Movie Monday ;)

3.9.12

Movie Monday #4 +Movie Monday #58

And now because of the title somebody's gonna be confused.
Well This will be my 4th Movie Monday, as in the normal tradition I started.
And the Movie Monday #58 is from the Finnish blog, and my contribution to it.

I think I'll start with that, so the assignment was to describe the
 "Perfect conditions to watch movie",
as in like, do you enjoy watching movies rather alone, with someone, in theaters, maybe in your bed etc.
I found this subject interesting, and for some odd reason I still haven't done any of the weekly challenges from that blog. So this is my first one.

At very first I totally hated going to movies, as in theaters. All alone, I always needed company with me. Well I still wish that I would have it, but now I have find it rather nice to go alone in movies. And I'd rather sit apart from others, I find it extremely anxious if I need to sit next to, not to even mention between two strangers.
If I could choose one place where to watch movies, I'd say theater. Because they usually look the best on big screen with high quality sounds. And most of the theaters have nice seats, they could add more space for legs tou! But the tickets are ridiculously expensive, thank god they now have gotten cheaper at day. That's why I usually have now start to go on movies at day time. It's also nice and quiet usually by day when everyone's at school/work.
I nicely managed to slip from my subject #OOPS.
But nothing wins having a nice movie night at home, and you can pause the movie and take breaks without losing a moment. And well basically you have the power to control how to watch a movie.
Especially now that we have better tv and better, pretty much everything. And I have seen the difference between DvD and Blu-Ray! I like to watch movies home. I just wish that our sofa would be more comfty.
And snacking during movies. I'm quite divided to have two totally different opinions on that and habits.
I dislike eating anything that makes sound in movie theaters, And idk I just don't find it a habit anymore, I used to! And now I have even changed sodas to mineral waters. Occasionally I might get candy to there, but rarely anymore. And then when I'm at home, I have like a freaking buffet of everything that I even slightly might crave, and I tend to eat while watching movie.
But I don't always eat during movie, if it's one of those movies that I love and it keeps my attention on grasp during the whole time I don't eat, but it it's even a bit boring I start to snack anything on my reach.
I think I just scratched the company one. Well I like to watch movies with people. But I enjoy most to watch them alone, so there's no one who might get my attention to escape from movie. And oh god how I hate those whom ask during a movie "Who's that? Why did it do like that? Oh god, what's gonna happen? I don't get this, what lnfvkln???" I HATE that, then I just reply "Watch the fucking movie, PAY ATTENTION!" or "It will be explained" or then I just reply quickly. That's one of the reasons why I like watching movies alone.
Oh and almost forgot, the 'timing' when I watch movies. I prefer to watch movies around 8pm-5am. That's my ideal movie time. But it's not always acceptable, since I still live at home. But when I have occasion I just watch movies whole night. And like I mentioned at very start, day time screenings at movie theater.
In a nutshell:  Home, Alone, Possibly with food, At Night.

And now to MY Movie Monday #4 ;)

I admit it, I bought this movie finally because of Liam.
Well to be honest, it wasn't original reason. Kind of... Well if start at the very beginning?

I remember when this was about to come out, umh 2010? yes. And there were all these trailers and I remember thinking that I might actually want to see that.
And that there was some nice handsome looking guy in there.
Can you imagine the shock I got when I recently found out that it was Liam. No, you can't.

I also have to confess that I really hope that I was asked to write about this movie, or from The Expendables 2. Hih~
But now I'm feeling quite blank and have nothing in mind what to actually say. #Oops

Well I think that Miley is not actor, I just don't like her. And I've never been much into her music neither, but the them song of this movie "When I look at you" I actually good, or I at least grew to like it, and surprise surprise it's by Miley. Here, it's the official version, so I think it's also kind of mini-trailer for the movie :'D haha.

I think for me this goes to my category; Guilty Pleasure.
It was good, but really I just dislike Miley. I really have nothing against her, I mean she is nice girl, but something in her face annoys me. Maybe it's because she has so round face ors... I don't know, but does it really matter? No, exactly.

For some odd reason I like these partly clishé movies that goes just the same. And I admit that it would be cool to accidentally bump onto ridiculously handsome guy who fells in love with you. And blah~

And oddly, I don't know if I'm the only one (most likely not). But these movies makes me really sad, and empty inside. Well I know why it has been like that for now, but I'd rather not talk about it atm.
After I first watched this movie few days back, I was assuming I'd feel like happy and warm inside, because it'll be cute movie that makes my mind soar in happy fields. But quite opposite.
I just felt super empty and destroyed, and I just wanted to cry. I didn't cry.
Even thought the movie had happy ending (I hope I'm not spoiling too much by saying that).
Second time wasn't that bad.

I think I partly could relate to that movie, well like not exactly and fully, but tiny part of me. Well tiny part of me always tries to relate to any movie I'm watching. But the idea.
Second time I watched this with my mom like few days later I had seen it. Since I knew she likes that genre of movies. She enjoyed it.

I feel that I've said everything in mind about this.

In general; It is really cute movie. I enjoyed it. 3½ Stars.
Warning: You might need a cuddling buddy during/after this movie. :)

~Cakey

P.s. -- Next week's Movie Monday, we'll be Assembling the Avengers ;) So I don't need movie recommendation to next week.
Also; Yesterday I watched two movies in a row, First Eden Lake and then The Soloist. Two totally different kind of movies. And in Eden Lake there were Kelly Reilly (Mary Watson, from Holmes) and Michael Fassbender (Magneto form First Class) it was weird to see them together in so different kind of movie, it was horror/thriller movie. And Michael's characters name was Steve.
Then in The Soloist, RDJ's characters name was also Steve. I just laughed so much for this when I realized it during the movie. And Jamie Foxx's characters name was Nathaniel Anthony blablahbla..smt. And all I could  think rest of the movie was Tony x Steve... Because name 'Steve' is forever and always now on Captain America. I had fun... Even tou either of those movies wasn't so good.

Movie Monday #3

You know how I always blabber something before starting the actual topic? Yes.
I'm not gonna let you down this time either, I think it's starting to be some kind of a habit already.
Well as you may see, today indeed isn't Monday. And I'm truly sorry that my Movie Monday got bit late from this week. Well better late than never, huh?
I do have an excuse! First, I didn't got movie until, I think uh Thursday. And Ida was kind and gave me a link where to watch it. But I was really busy with real life on the rest of the week. And I thought that I'll watch it on Monday and write on Tuesday.
And I did try to watch that movie on Monday and wrote an another post that day. But unfortunately that movie took forever to load. Seriously I'm not kidding! I put it on load, maybe hour before I started to watch it, and when I did start to watch I was able to get to maybe 15-20 mins. and then it stopped and started to buffer again, so I surfed around the webs for two hours and got back to see how much it had load. Not even at half way! So I decided to give up, and I was really tired at that point.
So yesterday I asked a new movie to rate (from my Last Seen -list). I could have rate it yesterday, but I was awfully tired. Mostly because I have bit of fever and it's making me very very tired. Even a little temperature on me get me in bad shape. Now that I have slept well last night (aside that I have very anxious dreams) I feel quite good, so here I am writing to you guys! :)
Oh and that movie I tried to watch was Iron Sky. And even tou that is the genre that I hate, I'm going to watch it one day (probably rent/loan it somewhere) and rate it then!

Where to start? Well, I really enjoyed this movie. Since Wolverine is my favorite mutant and he was the first Marvel character I liked the most.
I really was exited when I heard they were gonna do a movie of him. I nearly fell down to the floor when reading the news.
And I think that I was at the premier of this movie. And my oh my how much I enjoyed it, it got my adrenaline to rise and I remember it well when I got out of the theater!
I was there with my former GF, and uh it was fairly cold outside when the movie ended and we walked to the bus stop. I couldn't shut up talking about it, and I think there was still like snow on the ground and I was like so pumped up in adrenaline that I was feeling so hot that I was having my long jacket open (only having blouse and vest under it) and my GF was like freezing so I even gave my jacket to her because I was really like feeling that I was on fire.
I just love that kind of movie that make me feel that adrenaline rush.

It was also the first movie in X-men history that made me have problem to choose my fave mutant.
I've always loved Wolverine, but now I also totally fell for Victor! Now I have the eternal dilemma to choose between them. I'd love to be loyal and pick Wolverine, but then again.. idk I prefer Victor. And it depend are we talking about 'old' or 'new' Wolverine!

I was terribly shocked when I first saw the new adamantium claws. I seriously wanted to scream and ran off from the theater when they showed them. I mean, how come they look so much better and real in X1-3 ? And in here it's like "HELLLOOOOO COMPUTER!!" WHY!? And the bone claws he had before the operation were SO much better, they were really nicely made.
And idk, It looked a lot like they didn't put much effort on the special effects, or they had someone whom didn't know what to do. Because they peed in my eyes.
I think that Remy's special effects were nice, but others ... nnaaah. Not so much.
For me, it's horrible horrible thing to watch those disgusting computer made adamantium claws in this one. Probably the biggest thing I hate.
Also some minor things annoyed me, that they could've payed more attention, well no movie is perfect. Right?
But I really enjoyed getting background story, in movie form for Wolverine. I had read some of the comics about his past, unfortunately not so many that I wish!
And I was genuinely surprised when I found out that Victor is Sabertooth. So uh... X1? Is that supposed to be Victor? How come he doesn't remember his lil bro? I mean I get why Logan don't, but Victor? And he changed so much, well I decided to ignore this and enjoy the whole movie as in "out of the context" -way.

I really wish that they would bring Remy, Victor and Wade/Deadpool to the other X-men movies. Because they have much potential, AND I know that Deadpool has quite a big role in Marvel universe.
I think there IS Deadpool game/movie ors coming out/ is already out. I really haven't checked. Because I just found him so freaking irritating in the movie.
But as I've seen some comic glimpses of him, he seems really funny and awesome. So I'm looking forward to seeing more of him.

And for some reason I've head lots of opinions that this is the worst X-men movie. I don't get it. Well if you don't like Wolverine that much, then yeah I get you, but... I wouldn't say worst! For me this is either my fave or my second fave X-movie.

The timeline of this movie partly bugs me a lot. I think I spoke about this in my last Movie Monday, when I rated First Class
But if you think of this as independent X-men movie and just enjoy it. It'll be great, but if you're over thinking all the details, you might get puzzled!

4½/5 Stars.
Oookays well that's it for that movie!

Next week, I need a movie (I'd prefer you to pick it on either my last seen or from the ones I own, that way 100% guarantee getting rated. But you can throw me anything really!)
But NO AVENGERS -related. I'm doing a huge Avengers rating (ALL 7 MOVIES!) 10th day!
And of course, please check that I haven't rate it already ;) !

Ps. I'd like to thank you guys I've just hit my +500 page views, yes that's a lot for me.
Now good night ♥

27.8.12

Do you want to update your life?

First of all, I'm apologizing that my Movie Monday #3 will be late. I'll be writing it tomorrow after I come from therapy. Because the movie I was given I had no time to watch it, so after writing this post I'm gonna watch it (Iron Sky) and then hopefully go to sleep!
So I'll be updating stuff today in general, since well, stuff has happened :'D

I'm gonna start with me!
Today I had hairdresser, and last time I was there it's been seriously closer to six months! And that's a long long time for me! Well I did dye my hair by myself during that break, but it was more like uh... "I'm annoyed by my hair, I'm gonna dye them now!" sort of temporal decision.
And when my hair grew out of that, I had 5 different colors in my hair. Usually I keep my hair short, but now I'm on a task of growing them.

Pic spam! So first: before hairdresser. And then after (obviously), I like to keep my hair on ponytail, otherwise it's just dangling in front of my eyes annoyingly. I keep it either on top of my head, so my bangs are tied up, OR I have it back there.

And why you may ask, why on earth am I growing my hair out. Well, may I present you the evil person behind my inspiration;

Mister Chris Hemsworth. And his totally amazing hair... I just wanna run my fingers trough that glorious hair of his! Am I being creep again |D Mmmmyes?
That's actually the pic I took along with me to the hairdresser. And told her that I want to have that color. As you can see I have QUITE a lot more lighter color than him. Well except the tops! They are darker and much more closer to the right color, and well my hair is still too short, so I'll grow my hair to that length and get the dark in the roots! And next time when I'm going to hairdresser well dye it to right shade c:
Idk I haven't never ever had this blonde hair, and like fully blonde! Usually I have had black along there, but this, it's weird. It'll take some time to get used to these. They're like
almost white from the roots XD

(Oh god I fought long to get the pic & text in sync!! >8( )

And then entirely to other subject... Well kinda, it involves partly Mr.H ... ... .... TO THE SUBJECT!!
As you guys might remember/know that I have Huntsman poster, like the super huge one from movie theater. And just because I can, I've been trying to obtain another exactly same one from there.
Well we have Finnkino that has like theaters all over Finland, and my poster is from Vantaa's one. And I've been trying to obtain the second one from Helsinki (Tennis Palace).
And So far it hasn't gone so well, so I sent email asking about it and you know in general like where to ask them etc.
Today I got a response that they aren't allowed to give any of the big posters nor the cardboard cut outs to people. Because the movie company says no. Of course I then asked that can I ask from the movie company, and if so from where. She responded me quickly telling that they represent the Finland's part of that and they're not allowed to do that.
At that very moment I kinda lost the war.
And also at that moment I wasn't sure did I want to laugh or cry, because... I have only few movie related things on my wall... (This is semi-old pic...)
AND THEY'RE BOTH FROM MOVIE THEATERS! AHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!!!
I kinda felt special. Because uh... If they're not supposed to, how did I was allowed to get them? Well I might be in warm contact to Vantaa's theater in future ;) They seem much nicer there! And in Kino Palace, my Holmes & Watson are from there.
And then I started to wonder that Tennis Palace CAN'T have like their own rules by the giving away -part, since they have same distributor as Kino (another in Helsinki) & Flamingo (Vantaa) ... So technically they shouldn't give the posters away. (I hope all those name's makes sense to my non-Finnish readers)
Idk I should try to get a job from one of those theaters, so I'll might have advantage of getting them 0:--D & I get discount of going to movies~ Would be kinda dream job. Kinda.

And to the last subject. I ordered just so awesome Supernatural Themed shirt that I think I'm gonna die! I still haven't realized that I actually bought it XD ... U know it's like one of those "one time offers" and when the clock rans out, they're gone. So I reacted and panic bought it.   #Oops

Okay Now I'll go to watch that Darn movie! So see ya all tomorrow! :)
Oh and hey! How old do you guys think I look, honestly! I'm dying to know... .___.
